Desire’s Pemba Flees Uganda Over Mafia

Flashy socialite Jack Pemba, who was banging singer Desire Luzinda sometime back, is currently hibernating in Dubai, after allegedly being forced out of Uganda by the Mafia.

It is said that Pemba found himself between a rock and hard place a few days ago after the Mafias allegedly linked him to a dirty scandal by threatening to have him arrested over money laundering.

It is said that the said Mafia wanted to extort money from him and had threatened to do whatever it would cost them to attain their goal.

On learning about their plot, Pemba allegedly decided to flee. Desire became popular after reportedly banging several celebrities in Uganda who include Desire, Angella Katatumba, Judith Heard and others, on top of driving flashy rides.

EX-MP Balikuddembe Battles For Life

Former Busiro South Member Of Parliament Joseph Balikuddembe is currently bedridden, battling for his dear life.

According to family sources, Balikuddembe is bedridden at Nsambya Hospital where he has been holed up for several weeks, suffering from colon cancer. As you read this, family members are on their knees praying to God to save him.

Balikuddembe’s  problems started in 2015 when a renowned city doctor famously known as Dr. Ssali allegedly gave him a concoction to drink for cleansing his body, which however disorganized his bowels so much that he allegedly ended up being Pampered.

Meanwhile, Balikuddembe is also allegedly battling with Housing Finance bank over a debt of Shs156m he acquired sometime back, which has since accumulated due to high interest rates.

Juliana Finally Releases Comeback Song

After months and months of waiting, veteran songbird Juliana Kanyomozi has finally put a smile on her fans’ faces by releasing a new song.

Gorgeous but ageing Juliana released the audio for the song titled ‘I’m Still Here’ a few days back. Many music critics believe this is one of the projects that Juliana has been working on so as to achieve her much anticipated comeback.

After announcing the good news on her Instagram, Juliana’s fans flooded her wall expressing their joy and how they can’t wait for the new song.

The talented RnB songbird is one of the most celebrated and respected artistes in the entertainment scene thanks to her ear-pleasing lyrics over the years.

However, the past year Juliana exiled herself from the music scene for personal reasons.

Thugs Attack Homes, Hack Residents

The police in south-western Uganda are hunting for a gang of  thugs who attacked several villages in Masaka on Monday night, leaving one dead and many injured.

Cotilda Najjemba, one of the victims said that “The thugs, who were armed with pangas, axes, sticks and other weapons, came at around 1:00am. They confused the residents by pretending to be chasing thieves and raising a false alarm. So whoever came out of their house to respond to the alarm would be brutally attacked by the same thugs who were making    the false alarms. About 12 homes were attacked on villages like Kingo, Buwunga and others.”

She added that “That was how many of us ended up being severely injured, because the thugs lured us into their trap. But we were shocked because they never stole anything; not even the TV sets, phones or money. ”

Polly Kyobuzaale, a medic at Masaka referral hospital said “Many of these people  were brutally injured and had grave wounds. Actually one of them has since passed on, while the hospital advised others who are critically injured to seek specialized medication at Mulago hospital and other  bigger health  facilities.”

The  police are still hunting for the attackers although no suspects have been netted yet.

Joel Isabirye’s Network of Babes Unearthed

Celebrated radio business consultant Joel Isabirye is set to marry for the 15th time this weekend.

Isabirye is expected to be officially introduced by his new catch Natie K alias Hipscious Kylar Nicky real name Natalie Lukanga. The traditional ceremony is scheduled for Sunday March 26^th, 2017 at her parents’ home.

Although the dude has never acknowledged Kaggwa as one of his ex-lovers, she claims they dated and even have a child, a boy named Randell Joel Isabirye Jr. She however seems to have unresolved feelings for Isabirye and has made sure she attacks every woman organically linked to him.

Rebecca Jjingo

She is the second woman to have managed to convince Isabirye to walk her down the aisle. The two wedded in late 2013 having introduced Isabirye in April that same year. The radio presenter/musician later parted ways with Isabirye just a year into the marriage over irreconcilable differences. They both accused each other of infidelity, although Isabirye claimed Jjingo threatened to kill him.

Lilian Mukasa

In 2015, Isabirye made headlines once again when it emerged that he was dating Lilian. This was the babe that replaced his ex-wife Jjingo. 11 Battle For French Presidency

Eleven candidates are viciously vying for the French Presidency and campaigns are already underway for a general election slated for May 07^th, 2017.

There are three front-runners and as none are likely to secure an outright majority, a run-off between two candidates is highly expected. The contenders include National Front’s Marine Le Pen, Centrist Emmanuel Macron, Francois Fillon, Benoit Hamon of the Socialist Party, Jean-Luc Melenchon of the Left Party, Nathalie Arthaud  of Workers Struggle party, Francois Asselineau of Popular Republic Union party, Jacques Cheminade, Nicolas Dupont-Aignan of Stand Up France party, Jean Lassalle and Philippe Poutou.

For the first time in modern French history, the incumbent, Socialist President Francois Hollande, is not running for a second term because of poor poll ratings.

However, one of the biggest contenders Marine Le Pen is twice divorced with three children, and lives in the western suburbs of Paris.

Janet M7 Advises Onyango To Play In UPL

The Minister of Education and Sports, Janet K Museveni has advised Ugandan footballers who rush to foreign leagues to look for greener pastures to stay home and develop their county’s league. She wants them to join clubs in the Uganda premier league and develop the league.

The first lady said this on Sunday while reacting to various commentaries in the news that were advising Denis Onyango not to miss a golden chance in case any English premier league comes begging for his services.

Janet who seemingly never knew that Onyango is playing in the South African league kept on advising the star who has won the African Player of the Year Award (Based in Africa) to keep in the Country instead of leaving their own behind and going for the already made leagues.

“There is a mind-set that is so disturbing within the Ugandan people or is it Africans generally speaking that make our young people think that when you become successful especially in sports, then you should no longer belong to Uganda but it’s a qualifier to go to other countries’ teams,” said Janet.

“Anyhow for now I simply wanted to congratulate Denis Onyango and Uganda on his success as we shall always look at him as a national hero and role model and pray that God will give us resilience to build the strength in our country and may He continue to bless and use our people for His glory,” concluded Janet

UTA grappling with ITF debts

Uganda tennis players will have to wait for the next financial year before they can take part in international Tennis Federation Sanctioned activities.

This comes after Uganda Tennis federation failed to clear the $25000 which they owe ITF in time.

Uganda Tennis Association ceased to be affiliated to ITF in 2012, after failing to clear their annual subscription of $4000 which by then each member country was supposed to pay.

As NCS handles the ITF debt, UTA still has uphill task of clearing $2250 debt owed to the Confederation of African Tennis.

Through subscription, there are various benefits the local tennis fraternity gets such as: grants for the players to participate in various ITF junior Circuits, participation in the Davis Cup, and Fed Cup events, admission of players to ITF training centers in Burundi, and Morocco, Grants for coaches courses and selection of talented players on to ITF/Grand slam development fund junior touring teams.

ICC Sentences DRC’s Bemba to One-Year in Prison over Corruption

Former Democratic Republic of Congo Vice-President Jean-Pierre Bemba has been given a one-year sentence by the International Criminal Court for corruption to add to the 18 years that he is already serving for war crimes.

Before his original trial was completed, Bemba and four others were charged with attempting to interfere with witnesses.

Bemba and his colleagues have therefore been found guilty of trying to influence witnesses in his war crimes trial.

The others are; his legal counsel Aimé Kilolo, a member of his defense team, Jean-Jacques Mangenda, Congolese MP, Fidèle Babala and Narcisse Arido, who served as an expert defense witness in the main trial.

Ex-MP Balikuddembe Is Well – Wife

The wife of former Busiro South Member of Parliament Joseph Balikuddembe has gotten in touch with Pepper Online and revealed to this leading news Website that her husband is well and very healthy.

Vicky Nyirasoni, who was reacting to a story we published on this website titled ‘Ex-MP Balikuddembe Battles for Life’, assured us this morning that; “To all family and friends I would like to clarify that Hon. Balikudembe is well. The person in hospital is Balikudembe Joseph senior who is a lawyer too, he has been in Nsambya hospital for some time battling with cancer. ….”

When we contacted Hon. Balikuddembe,  he also confirmed Vicky’s assurance by saying that “You guys, for me I’m well and very fine. I was hospitalized in Bangalore, India, between 2014-2015; that is true. But it was because of stomach complications, specifically Gastro Blockage. But I am now fine. I went back to India early this year for review and the medics have since declared me healthy and fit to work normally.”

Another source also revealed that the sick Balikuddembe is the one who represented Dr. Kizza Besigye some time back.

Sons’ plea to Rwanda’s president over pregnant mother held in prison

The young sons of a mother held in prison in Rwanda have written to the country’s president asking for her to be released.

Violet Uwamahoro from Leeds was arrested on Valentine’s Day after travelling for a family funeral.

The youth worker, who is five months pregnant, is charged with sharing state secrets and organising armed groups.

Her husband Faustin Rukundo said his wife is being victimised because of his role as a political activist.

He is involved with the  Rwandan National Congress  opposition group.

Mrs Uwamahoro’s children, Samuel, aged eight, and David, 10, have written to Prime Minister Theresa May, and Rwandan president, Paul Kagame, in a bid to help their mother.

They have also sent her Mother’s Day cards, telling her how much they miss her.

French Prosecutors ‘Drop’ Sex Abuse Case against CAR Soldiers

French judicial sources say that prosecutors have called for the case against French soldiers accused of child sexual abuse in the Central African Republic to be dropped.

The assaults allegedly took place between December 2013 and June 2014 at a camp for displaced people near the airport in the capital Bangui.

They were first revealed by the Guardian newspaper in 2015.

But in January, investigating judges found no evidence to warrant further investigation of the six accused soldiers.

The final decision about the case rests with the prosecutor’s office, which now appears to want to close the case.

Deadly explosions Kill 8 in Nigeria

At least eight people have been killed and 20 others wounded in bomb blasts at a camp for displaced people and a residential neighbourhood in Nigeria’s north-eastern city of Maiduguri, police say.

Residents told the BBC they heard three loud explosions, two at the camp and one in the neighbourhood, both close to the Muna motor park.

An official from Nigeria’s emergency agency, Muhammad Kanar, has told local journalists that five suicide bombers, all of them male, carried out the attacks.

He added that the bombers targeted people fleeing violence.

The militant Islamist group Boko Haram is suspected to be the one that has carried out an attack.

Three Clubs Thrown Out Of National Luddo League 2017

The Uganda Luddo competitions committee has thrown out three clubs namely: Nabweru super from Wakiso, Freedom Square from Iganga and Dice Masters from Mukono over failure to meet the national super league requirements.

They have therefore been replaced by Anthony Kitega from Mukono, Kawanda Giants from Wakiso and Freedom from Kawempe to play in the top super National Luddo league.

16 clubs will this year play in the National Luddo Super league which starts on the 2rd April 2017, with eight games on card and all will be played at Whispers Club Kanyanya starting at 10am.

Queen’s Baton Relay arrives in Uganda this Weekend

The Commonwealth Games Queen’s Baton Relay will be arriving in Uganda this weekend From Rwanda.

The Queen’s Baton Relay departed Buckingham Palace on 13 March and will visit every Commonwealth Country as it journeys to Australia where the 2018 Commonwealth Games will take place starting from April 4-15.

During the commencement ceremony at Buckingham Palace, Her Majesty the Queen placed her message into the specially designed Baton and entrusted it to the first Baton bearer, legendary Australian track cyclist and Gold Coast 2018 Ambassador Anna Meares OAM (Order of Australia).

During its time in Uganda, the British High Commission, together with National Council of sports and the Uganda Olympic Committee, will take the Baton to Kololo where activities like tress planting and running across town will be done and on Tuesday it will head to Parliament of Uganda.

The Gold Coast 2018 Relay is the longest and most accessible in history, travelling through the entire Commonwealth for 388 days and 230,000 kilometers in order to share the excitement of the Games with as many people as possible.

The Queen’s Baton Relay is a tradition of the Commonwealth Games that celebrates themes of diversity, community pride, and the sporting values of fairness, inclusivity and perseverance.

Weasel Parades New Girlfriend

Celebrated singer Douglas Mayanja aka Weasel has always been known to be a serial dater, thanks to the well documented history with city babes.

It is because of his serial dating that he has reportedly fathered over thirty children from different babes, although he only acknowledges six of them.

Mugisha Turns Love Doctor, Blasted by Fans

Roger Mugisha is with no doubt a Jack of all trades, having literally and practically engaged in all sorts of jobs. From being the head of Shadow’s Angels to a media personality, emcee, pastor, now actor with Second Chance Uganda, he has done it all.

However, he seems not to be done yet because he has become a sort of self-styled Love Doctor these days. On Thursday morning, Mugisha proclaimed himself a love doctor on social media.

He posted on Facebook how he was going to share secrets about men that most babes did not know, like how to get a man to commit or why men cheat.

He went on to reveal how men are not as complicated as ladies claim they are, assuring his fans how he has experience in these matters, considering how long he has been around.

“In the next couple of days, I am going to share with you secrets about men that most of you ladies didn’t know. Like; How do you get a man to commit? Why would a man cheat? I will still keep my memes. Men are not as complicated when you get to understand our 5 pillars. I speak from a lot of experience. We’ll start when you are ready,” Roger posted on his wall.

Whereas many of his fans were eager to read what Mugisha had, others were not impressed. As such, they wondered why people with the most confused relationships know much about love issues.

A one Lucky Mutesi commented, “Why is it that people with most confused relationships think know much to do with relationships???”

Honestly, Mutesi has a point, knowing how troubled Mugisha’s love life has been. It should be noted that Mugisha has over the years been the ‘face’ of bad relationships considering how many times he made headlines for hooking and dumping different babes, neglecting his alleged tots and many other love-related scandals.

It was until last year that Mugisha settled down with his baby mama Shibah Nassali Richards.

Fans Demand Smiles From Juliana

Veteran songbird Juliana Kanyomozi has been bashed by her fans for not smiling enough.

The sexy but ageing ‘Woman’ hit maker revealed how shocked she was when a number of her loyal fans described her as ‘The Chic that never smiles” a few days back.

Juliana could not believe it and took to social media to ask if it is true that she never smiles. The singer explained that it could be true because she doesn’t know how to be smiley all the time, although she is always smiling in her heart.

She has since promised to smile more often. “The chic that never smiles??????????… That’s what some of you guys are always telling me anyway. I guess i don’t know how to be smiley smiley lol. But I promise you, my heart always has the biggest smile????????… Hope you guys are having a great day,” Juliana posted on her Instagram.

Whether smiling or not, one thing remains a constant; Juliana is one of the sexiest female musicians in Uganda and certainly one of the most lusted after.

Ex-NTV’s Basajja Lands S. Africa Kyeyo

Former NTV employee Hassan Basajja seems to have landed in sweet things.

The former cameraman threw in the towel at the Kampala Serena Hotel based television station for greener pastures and seems to have finally gotten his wish.

Info reaching this website is that Basajja is now working with Universal Records in Johannesburg and Durban.

A source close to Basajja reveals that he relocated to South Africa after signing a two-year contract with the company where he now shoots music videos and documentaries.

Basajja is also reported to be super excited about leaving our Banana Republic for Madibaland, where he is enjoying himself.
