Inferno night club at Namboole, Bweyogerere is this Friday holding a party for city revellers to mark the start of lent season that began on Wednesday this week.
Club publicist Obed Arituvich said in a tweet yesterday the bash is to encourage party diehards drink more during lent so that their colleagues who are fasting don’t backslide.
“We encourage those not fasting to drink on their friends’ behalf… it’s going to be a massive and fun party tomorrow night, ” he said.
Clients will be treated to a generous discount of buying three beers at only Shs10.000 from 3pm to 11pm.
He said that clients will be offered an appetiser to keep the booze flowing down their throats.
LENT is an important Christian season in which people practice acts of abstinence and fasting ahead of Easter.
“But at inferno we also view it as a time to Leave Every Negative Thing(s) of the past behind and strive for a future filled with hope, hence the need for a party,” he said.
