Senior presidential adviser on media Tamale Mirundi has opined that Go Forward presidential candidate Amama Mbabazi will be back in Museveni government after the elections.
Mirundi noted that those who will vote for Amama Mbabazi in presidential elections on Thursday next week will be wasting their votes.
“Amama Mbabazi is coming back in Museveni’s government. Those voting for him are wasting their votes,” Mirundi argued while appearing on NBS TV today morning.
Speaking at a press conference on Monday morning in Gulu, the former premier said that he holds no grudge with the NRM candidate (Museveni) and will not hesitate to work with him in the near future if that will bring about democratic change in the country.
“What matters are not personalities but objectivity and principles,” Mr Mbabazi said.
Mbabazi ditched National Resistance Movement (NRM) last year to pursue his presidential ambitions after failure to convince his then boss, President Museveni to step down for him.
