Uganda ready for Tunisia in Rugby World Cup Qualifiers
The road to Rugby World Cup 2019 starts this year on 15th July 2017 with 14 teams competing for one direct qualification spot into the final tournament and one spot in the Repechage tournament. It’s a qualification for Rugby World Cup 2019 and will be hosted in Tunisia.
Uganda is grouped in Division 1A, alongside Kenya, Namibia, Senegal, Tunisia, and Zimbabwe. Meanwhile Division 1A and B will play act as round two of the qualification rounds, the winner of Division 1B will advance to the Africa Repechange play-off while the top 4 teams from Division 1A will remain and advance to round 3.
The winners of the 2018 Division 1A will qualify for the world Cup as Africa 1: while the second placed side will advance to the Africa repechange play off.
