Referee Ngobi Balikoowa Musa Suspended

FUFA Referees Standing Committee has suspended Referee Ngobi Balikoowa Musa because of poor decision making.

“This is to notify you that the FUFA Referees Standing Committee (FRSC) has suspended assistant referee Ngobi Balikoowa Musa who officiated the Azam Uganda Premier League match no.86 between SC Villa Jogoo Vs Express FC on 29th October 2016 at Mandela National Stadium – Namboole,” reads the official statement from FUFA Referees Standing Committee

“The decision was taken after reviewing the Referees Assessors report and the video clip indicating that the decision taken by the Second Assistant Referee Musa Balikoowa Ngobi in the 84th minute led to disallowing a would have been a valid third goal to visiting team (Express FC).”

The suspension takes immediate effect and covers the remainder of the 2016/17 season.
